In short, he could design strategic performance training programs around specific performance measures. Raw mechanical data of the lacrosse shot was non-existent, however, until he initiated a 3-D biomechanical study of professional lacrosse players and some of country's top Division-1 Lacrosse teams. The results—that proper shooting mechanics translate into faster, more powerful shots—were presented to the 2008 US Lacrosse National Convention in January. Danowski, of the NJ Pride, was the 2005 and 2007 Jack Turnbull Award recipient as the nation's Top Attackman, the 2007 Tewaaraton Trophy recipient as the national player of the year, the 2007 and 2008 Lieutenant Enner's Award recipient as the national player of the year, the second overall pick in 2008 MLL draft and an MLL All-Star in his first season.

Athletic Edge Lacrosse will also be a forum for top coaches and national experts on sports nutrition, sports psychology, biomechanics, etc. It is a multidisciplinary approach, geared to maximizing the potential of the whole lacrosse athlete. This cumulative expertise will integrate time-tested and cutting-edge information on mental, physical and technical aspects of the game, sharing research, education and training strategies.
